There are three types of Zikr: Hay tres tipos de Zikr:

2. Verbal 2. Verbal
3. Silent 3. Silencioso

1. 1. Practical Útiles

Practical Zikr, also known as "Zikr-e-Faily", is performed with one's obedient actions. Zikr útiles, también conocido como "Zikr-e-Faily", se realiza con la obediente acciones. It comprises of obedience to: Se compone de obediencia a:

i) The commandments of Allah (swt) i) Los mandamientos de Allah (SWT)
ie Prayer, Fasting, Hajj, umrah, Zakaat, charity etc es decir, la oración, el ayuno, Hajj, umrah, Zakaat, caridad, etc

ii) The Sunnah of our Holy Prophet (saw) ii) La Sunnah de nuestro Santo Profeta (SAW)
ie eating, drinking, sleeping, walking, talking, dressing etc. es decir, comer, beber, dormir, caminar, hablar, vestirse, etc

2. 2. Verbal Verbal

Verbal Zikr, also known as "Zikr-e-Lisani", is observed with one's tongue. Zikr verbal, también conocido como "Zikr-e-Lisani", se observa con la propia lengua. It comprises of: Se compone de:

i) Loud zikr; ie Azan, Takbir, Collective zikr etc i) Vivos Zikr, es decir, Azan, Takbir, etc Colectiva Zikr
ii) Low tone zikr, ie Tasbihat, masnoon duas etc ii) Bajo tono Zikr, es decir, Tasbihat, DUAS, etc masnoon

3. 3. Silent Silent

Silent Zikr, also known as "Qalbi Zikr", "Zikr-e-Khafi" and "Daimi Zikr" is performed within one self.. Silent Zikr, también conocido como "Qalbi Zikr", "Zikr-e-Khafi" y "Daimi Zikr" se realiza dentro de uno mismo .. There are many stages to silent zikr. Hay muchas etapas de silencio Zikr. The first and foremost of which is Qalbi Zikr: Remembrance of Allah (swt) from within the heart. La primera y principal de las cuales es Qalbi Zikr: Recuerdo de Allah (SWT) desde dentro del corazón.

Most, if not all, of us are familiar with both practical and verbal forms of zikr and we'll have at some point practised them within our life. La mayoría, si no todos, de nosotros estamos familiarizados con ambas prácticas y las formas verbales de Zikr y tendremos en algún momento se practica dentro de nuestra vida. Silent zikr, on the other hand, is less well known. Silent Zikr, por otra parte, es menos conocido. This is because this form of zikr is practised and taught only by the Friends of Allah (swt). It is because there are many types of Zikr, that there are many paths towards Allah (swt). Es porque hay muchos tipos de Zikr, que hay muchos caminos hacia Allah (SWT). These paths, known as Sufi Orders , vary primarily on the type of Zikr chosen to lead the mureed to Allah (swt). From the four famous sufi orders, Qadiri, Chisti & Soharwardi all start the mureed off with verbal zikr later moving onto Qalbi Zikr.
